Emphasis/Rules Check List

1. Make contact sheet in Adobe Bridge and upload to your blog. Remember to have labelled your techniques. 15 images min, 35 max.
2. Upload your BEST photos, one of each technique ie. "rule of thirds" and then label them in your blog. There should be 5 total images and example of each of the emphasis techniques: leading lines, framing, repetition, rule of thirds, contrast. or rules that you tried to break (grade 10s).
3. Save an image to the SHARE Folder D2 "MyLFAS2". Just title it with your name, not with the technique.
4. ***NEW*** Write a comment on your favourite photo how this represents "YOUR LFAS".

Elements of Design Assignment

Photo10 Required Assignment, Photo 9 Bonus Marks
Design elements are the basic units of a visual image. Elements of Design are physical things that are arranged in your photographic composition.  Go out with your camera and take at least 3 photos of each element:

1. Line,
2. Shape,
3. Texture,
4. Colour,
5. Form

Try to include a subject, the photo still has to be "about" something and consider emphasis techniques and/or rule breaking techniques when taking. Save one to your blog and the other contact called elements.
